Smart SIP & SWP Calculator For Monthly Income ≤ ₹50,000
📈 Segment 1: Investment Phase
This section helps you understand how much wealth you can accumulate by regularly investing a small portion of your income. Based on your monthly income (up to ₹50,000), the calculator automatically allocates 3% into an ELSS mutual fund — meant for long-term goals and tax-saving — and another 3% into a flexible emergency fund, where you can choose between Flexicap, Multicap, or Index fund. These investments grow over time using compounding, and you’ll see the estimated future value for both after the number of years you plan to invest. This phase lays the foundation for your financial goals by building two types of funds: one for long-term security and one for liquidity in emergencies.
💰 Segment 2: SWP Plan (Using ELSS Corpus Only)
Once your investment duration is over and you've built a corpus — especially in ELSS which is locked for 3 years — this segment helps you turn that amount into a steady income stream. Here, you simply enter how much you would like to withdraw each month after retirement or achieving your financial goal. The calculator then shows how long your ELSS corpus will last if you start a Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP), adjusting for inflation each year. This teaches you the value of staying invested and withdrawing smartly instead of consuming the full amount at once.
🔄 Segment 3: Reverse Plan for SWP Duration
This segment is useful if you already know how long you’ll need income after your investment period — for example, wanting to sustain withdrawals for 10 years after retirement. Based on this target, the calculator tells you how much SIP you should have invested per month to safely meet your expected monthly needs for that time frame. If your current ELSS investment isn’t enough, it recommends increasing your monthly savings in the investment phase. This segment is helpful for future-proofing your plan if your expected lifestyle exceeds your current savings pace.
