The most recent blockbuster from Hindi Film Industry is Stree 2 and is continuously witnessing its dream run at Box Office. People have enjoyed the Horror-Comedy genre and both installments of this series are super hits. Rajkumar Rao and Shradhha Kapoor are a treat to watch together, and the great Pankaj Tripathi rocked on once again. People are enjoying the fun part of this movie, but the director and story writer have definitely left a social message for the mass. Apart from being in Horror Comedy Genre it is also a well-executed Social Satire.
The reflections of the villain "Sarkata" have been depicted as if he is acting against the women who are breaking social hurdles and coming out of the social boundaries to pursue their dreams and careers. Women those are doing anything that was formidable since ages are being captured and tortured by the villain Sarkata. Even many other men who were supporting these women were brainwashed and now they act against the women. These scenes were beautifully and comically delivered not to hurt the core of the movie but truly deserved to be noted and applauded.
A scene where Pankaj Pripathi conveyed to a woman that Sarkata considers a woman modern even if she is carrying a smartphone or present on social media. The character of Sarkata leads the deep-rooted biasing against women in society. Even in such a comic movie, such sentiments should largely be applauded.
Stree 2 makers have done good to keep this team intact. Hope for another installment sooner.
